[Avid-L2] Vtr emulation Cable Pin Outs from Avid

Jeff,
Here are the pin outs from Avid and the one's I had suggested on the Avid SN forum.  They match but I was unaware of the 4 to 6 and 6 to 4 for Transmit and Receive commons.  I'm still not convinced those are necessary since all the serial control cables that I've run only used pins 1-3 and 7-9 but perhaps there is some need for the 4 to 6 commons that might give problems.

If
I read the following chart correctly then to build the necessary RS-422
cross over I hook pin 3 to pin7(TX+ to RC+) and pin 2 to pin 8(RC- to
TX-) Does this seem right?

DB-9 RS422 Pinouts
The TX and RC signals as well as the pin 1 ground follow the SMPTE
standard.   Antona uses the added pins 5 and 9 for application of
external power to our adapters.   The pinouts below are referenced as
coming from our series ANC-6000 adapter when it is configured for master operation.
