[Avid-L2] Mac Network with Avid and Screen Sharing WaaHOoooooo

Having spent most of my Symphony stick time on PCs I'm really enjoying the SNDX on Mac so far.  I don't know what has been set up by the mac savvy IT guys but the Mac network really is impressing me.  I've been sprinting to the machine room to simul record betasps while outputting.  It was pointed out I could just screen share my SNDX and control it from MCR mac.  Man this is cool.  I know there are PC software solutions for remote desktop like stuff but this Mac thing is soooo darn simple and it seems like this is just a function when Macs are on the same network.  I can even do it from my mac laptop without anything more than the edit computer password.  Is the screen sharing really this simple or has someone done some server magic behind the scenes to make this work?  I can even access the edit computer to call up other bins while outputting without disturbing the layoff using MCsoft on my laptop.  I think I might owe Steve Jobs an OKI dog on
the house!!!
