Re: [Avid-L2] What "is" filler?

I believe that filler is one of the files in Avid Symphony/Program
File/Supporting Files/Avid_Mediafiles/Blackxxx.

This is on an old Avid Meridien Symphony, but I believe that current
versions would also place these files somewhere similar.

One way to trouble shoot would be to try filler in a project of a
different resolution. If the specific "black" file for the resolution
you are experiencing the trouble with is corrupt, then it's possible
that the other files - which are used for different resolutions of
"black" - may not be corrupt.

I don't know of a way to rebuild this folder of media without
reinstalling Symphony. If you have another Symphony system, you could
be able to copy the folder from it to the affected system.
