You know, the truth is, this really IS an extraordinary list. Even if you don't have an exact dog in a particular discussed hunt, if you read everything then nine times out of ten you're at least prepared to address any problem you may have. You have some basic tools with which to approach any post production challenge. There are some fiercely smart people on this list and just lurking confers a professional advantage.
