Re: [Avid-L2] Re: Why isn't Avid marketing all over this story?

On first read I thought you wrote "abhor" rather than "adore" :-)

Exactly!

Copy/Pasta in Avid doesn't let you patch to another track . . . does
it in FCP?

Adding:
You mentioned Phantom Marks. I'm not a fan of displaying the phantom
marks in Avid. In an effort to give back to the L2 gang for all my
lurking and OT posts, here is a small offering: Were you aware that
even with Phantom Marks *not* displayed you can still use Play In/Out
and Go To Mark Out (or In) to feel out that phantom 4th mark? For
example: In the Timeline you have a Mark In and Mark Out of 5
seconds. In the Source window you have a Mark In. In the Source
window, press "Go To Mark Out" or "Play I/O" without displaying the
phantom 4th mark and it still works.

And if anyone loves showing Phantom Marks, please let me know what I'm
missing . . . seriously.

Cheers,
