That is also the conclusion that I have come to; however, it is going to
involve the extra step of recapturing the master, after pulldown has been
added by the Avid hardware.
Ideally, there would be a software solution for this. Squeeze will add
pulldown to an MPEG encode; but, I can't do the insert edit there to add the
"30i" credit roll, as I can on tape.
I could run a 24p QuickTime export through AE to make a 30i QuickTime, and
then attach my credit roll, but that is more time and more data created...
...and did I mention that this show is 26 minutes? :)
