[Avid-L2] Re: MC 4.x errors

May be a backward compatibility issue if you are opening a project created in an earlier version of MC with FX using plug-ins (I don't remember which exactly). I had the same error message going from PC to Mac and also from 2.8.1 to 3.5.1 I trashed the AVX2 plug-ins and SubCap and went on working. The Color Corrections got promoted without a problem and I believe nothing in that area has changed for 4.0.

Now that I am done with that project, I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3.5.1 and started a new project, and AVX2 and Subcap don't cause problems. There was a lot of discussion on this in the Avid MC (Mac) User Forum.
