I was taught in the Avid graphics for media composer class that a photoshop document should be 720x540 or 648x486 on the computer screen to look like it will when it is imported to Avid with non square pixels etc.... Today I had a 648x486 document and choose the top choice graphic is at the right size. Well this F'd the import up I had to choose the bottome resize on import to get it right. I took the same graphic in photoshop and resized it to both 720x540 and 720x486 and imported both with the top choice and both are correct and identical. Am I mis remembering this. I thought with the top choice the 648x486 graphic would just get stretched out horizontally yielding the correct aspect ratio in non square pixels. In fact I distinctly remember be told in the Avid class 648x486 was better than 720x540 because there would be no vertical interpolation. I rarely if ever get 648x486 graphics but didn't they use to come in correct with the top
choice or am I just hallucinating?
