[Avid-L2] Completely random subject

Dunno the latest rumors, but i do know that it won't take long (if not
already) the engine to do so will be free.

Creating native Avid files (including all metadata) already is freely
available (thanks to the BBC),
porting RED files is just a matter of time. If there is no need, don't
invest.
(Rupert should know more, as he is more involved than i am)
