I have to agree with Steve on that one, John. Think of continuity of
the image in the same way you would create smooth and consistent audio
levels and sound quality between dialog and room tone, creating the
impression of seamlessness and continuous time.

I don't do a lot of advanced CC, but the workflow I've used in the
past is that the "Primary" CC level is to even-out the scenes and the
"Secondary" CC level is to add the creative look (e.g., hi-con, night,
whatever...).

Now, if you're talking about continuity of action, that's another
story. To quote my friend Steve Beaumont: "Continuity, Schmont-
inuity!" ;-)
