I am unsure if VideoToolShed will "stitch" GoPro's spanned files, or even if that is still an issue with GoPro's.
I know two years ago while consulting for MotorTrend's various car series, directors would stick as many as 8 GoPros on cars – and this was when there was no Timecode Systems' "SyncBac Pro" to jam sync them – and the filenames when clips went near the 4GB filename Windows-style limit would never show-up as consecutive filenames: Clip 2 would never be right after Clip 1 since the cameras named the parsed file with a different letter prefix (ARGH!!!!), thus they would always force you to scroll to the bottom of the folder to find the associated file.
Then we had AEs load all that into Premiere Pro manually to "stitch" the files together, then export those for Avid MC transcoding. Talk about going around the block to get next door.
I begged RedGiant to use that as an opportunity to add an auto stitch and transcode feature to their SHOOTER software, but it fell on deaf ears.
Divergent's Edit Ready does the trick! Take that, Red Giant!
