After the kernel panic issue that was in 6.5.3, yes..i do copy the
installer from the DMG to the desktop first.
Upon closer examination, the background transcoding does work from within
the MC.
Dynamic Media Folders do not work. The LaunchAgent (AvidDMFSupportSvc)
hangs when its launched after Background Services are turned on.
Apparently, the other background services are now working.
I'm leaning against this being permissions now and potentially being a
conflict with something (Adobe Creative Cloud? Thats a recent install, as
well).
I did a clean install of Mountain Lion, but I was not smart enough to only
install Avid...test...then reload other stuff one by one.
I can actually live without Dynamic Media Folders, but it would be nice to
know why this is happening.
