[Avid-L2] Sony F-5 XAVC Intra 2K Camera Metadata info and S-Log settings with Avid and Resolve?

I'm told we have footage from a Sony F-5 that should be treated as Sony S-log.  For offline the AE used his Ver. 7 media composer on his laptop.  We could not get an ama link on mc ver. 6.5.4.  My research a few weeks back seemed to indicate you need at least Ver. 7 Avid for the proper ama plugin to work with the F5.  I brought the camera media into Resolve 9 and it doesn't look bad with no LUT, definitely not the drastic washed out look of Log C I'm use to.  If I apply Resolve's Sony S2 Log things change and it appears to clip at the bottom and the top.  If I apply Resolve's Arri Log C to Rec 709 the levels are legal and not clipped.

I installed Sony's Content Browser 2.3.1 ish  and I can look at the camera media.  In the info tabs I don't see any indication of Sony S-log.  Where it lists LUT there is nothing.  Is there a part of the Sony Content Browser that will specifically display if an F-5 XAVC intra 2K clip is shot in Sony S Log?  I'm also curious why in Resolve settings the Sony S log only appears as a 1D input LUT in the master settings LUT area or I can right click on a clip and assign the Sony S2 log to an individual clip.  I'm going to shot gun and spit out a flat Resolve export, an Arri log C to Rec 709 and the Sony S2 log.  I'll compare the results but I would like to know if anyone can point me to where in the Sony Content browser I can see S Log info etc... for these clips.  I tried media info but it doesn't seem to look at S Log or Lut metadata, at least I don't see it leap out at me.  Maybe for valentines day somebody could by me a universal perfect codec I can give to everyone to use so I don't have to dick with this stuff.  ;-)  Of course feel free to send chocolate of any format or frame rate.  That I know how to convert.
