[Avid-L2] Adding LUT in Resolve and creating Avid Media with audio from ProRes Alexa files?

I thought I knew how to do this but apparently I've never dealt with audio on clips I'm processing a LUT onto.  We got footage from an Alexa in ProResHQ.  It appears to be logC.  I wanted to take the prores from the field and just add the Arri LUT in Resolve so offline won't look washed out.  I bring in all the media and add the Arri to 709 out 3D LUT.  I enabled audio and clicked the render audio in the delivery box.  I get a single .mxf file with no audio.  Now it's saying it's a 4 hour process which I get but when I bring one of the completed .mxf files to an avid system there is no audio on the video clip.  Does resolve wait to make the separate audio .mxf files till the end of the backing or am I just missing one of the many parameters.  In the master project settings I enabled audio but didn't check the Audio Meter Alignment box.  In the output settings I checked Render audio with audio channels same as source bit depth 24.  I there something else I have to do to get audio on the Luted clips.  I never cut them into a timeline they are just on the master timeline.  Do I have to add audio there?  Just when I thought I was making progress.  Oh well learning from my mistakes once again.
