I am capturing from tape via AJA Kona 3 for the first time… well first time to Media Composer. My source is SD from Digibeta via SDI. My project resolution is 1080p29.97, but there is no cross conversion set in the Kona control panel. The captured files are 1080p29.97
I must presume the files were uprezzed by the Kona 3 on capture, even though the control panel does not indicate this. Media Composer wouldn't do this in software, would it?
Does Avid override the AJA control panel based on the project setting?
Do I have to set the project to SD in order to capture SD?
