I think with version 7.x, waveforms are cached somewhere on the hard drive, to increase performance. It's possible that cache can get corrupted. I have no idea how to clear the cache and force a rebuild (used to have to do this occasionally on FCP).

On MC7.0.4 Win7 with TerraBlock storage. Rebuilding the .avs settings didn't help.The odd thing for me is that the media that was previously in the sequence displays just fine, but if I cut in a new clip, there are no waveforms, just the volume line.I'll try different user settings to see if I need to rebuild.Thanks,Steve Pomerantz
