Maybe I am missing a piece of the puzzle. When I exported the AAF, I transcoded it. I selected folder and checked the option to put it int he same place as the AAF. After the procedure the AAF (exported) sequence is offline. I quit the Avid, relaunch and then it sees it.
The destination I chose is the root level of the drive, so Avid put the media in the existing Avid MediaFiles folder and the AAF at the root level as well. I checked and went to the Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1 folder and the new media is there.
It is not a big deal, it's already done. I just wanted to understand why it's doing that.
The attached screen capture shows the AAF settings I used.
Thanks,
Rubén
