On my home mac pro system OS 10.8.5 12 core mac pro SNDX Ver 6.5.4 I found that when I had a get info box open and I hit matchframe mapped to my F12 key I get a main thread bus error every time. I was matchframing to stills slugged in with Pan and Zoom applied. Once I matchframed I hit CMD I for get info and I used that info to redirect the pan and zoom effect to the new location of the still. That all worked but when I'd come to the next still and matchframe poof main thread bus error. I finally realized it only happened when I had the previous get info window open. It didn't matter if I was dealing with pan and zoom effects or just regular clips once I opened the get info from the source window I would crash with the next matchframe. The solution was to close the get info window before hitting matchframe the next time. Once I figured the culprit I avoided crashing. I don't every recall running into this trap before. I'm assuming this is a newer bug or there is something with my system that is wonky. Perhaps tomorrow I'll try new user setting to see if that's somehow involved. Anybody ever run into this issue?
