Re: [Avid-L2] Canon c300 can't ama link to volume?

I found recently that I can link to a C300 volume on Media Composer 7 but only individual files on Symphony 6 - might be a plugin issue.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Canon c300 can't ama link to volume?

I've searched the recent thread on getting Canon c300 files to ama.  I am testing some footage and it didn't come in a "CONTENTS" folder.  It was the next folders down CLIPS001 and CLIPS002 which then contain the other folders which seem to match what I saw in the previous thread.  I can link to ama file on the CLIPS002 folder if I drill down to the .mxf files themselves.  I can't do the same with the CLIPS001 Folder.  I can't link to ama volume on either.  I'm on my MBP OS 10.6.8 Symphony Soft 6.5.3.  I've also tried on a macpro OS 10.8.3 with mc ver 6.5.4 without success.  I'm going to see if I can attach my desktop grab of the folder structures and if not I'll try to paste them into a reply post.  I assume that because I have been able to individually ama link to the CLIPS002 folder .mxf files I have the correct ama plugins but then why can't I link to ama volume now that I've added a CONTENTS folder at the top of the tree.  Is there something magical about the original CONTENTS folder that I was not given?  Or does it effect some other aspect of ama linking that I'm missing?
