Just investigating. I have files that will not work at all in 7.0.2 or 7.0.4 while in the same folder are other files that work perfectly - so not path length. Not file size, either, as some large ones work and some smaller ones don't (and vice versa). All these files link fine in 6.5.4. Looking at the metadata in Adobe Bridge I can't see anything odd. All JPG, 8 bit, RGB.

My DVD duplication software has the same limitation.I can't remember running into this particular quirk. It is possible I am being misled and the root cause is not what it appears. I've seen files that had to be in particular locations, especially the root level, or no more than one level deep, or even files that could NOT be at the root but had to be one level down, and there are always pathname length limits…But in this case, the particulars of where do not seem to matter, as long as it's no more than five levels down. And this apparently changed from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3.Cheers,todTod HopkinsHillmann & Carr Inc.2233 Wisconsin Ave., NWWashington, DC 20007202-342-0001
