Hi,
You may have "allow per track settings" activated. Check to see if you have CH 1 turned off and CH2 turned on. To see track controls, click the disclosure triangle next to the timecode window above the tracks in the timeline.

I need help again in my old age. I can no longer rubber band on CH 1 works Ok on CH 2 . It will not let me key frame I get the deadly BING. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Any ideas? Thank You
