Re: [Avid-L2] AMA not working in Trial

I did that already but I was reading the c300 thread and just realized that the client may have --- and a couple of other "illegal" characters in their names. I'm going to see if they take a proRes file out of the folder onto the desktop to see if it'll link. If so then I've resolved the issue.

Thanks

You need to install the AMA plugins. They're a separate installer. You can
download them from the Avid website.

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've posted. I just did a quick install of the a
trial version of MC 6.5 on a mac. When I started trying to AMA some
footage, ProRes, XDCAM C300. (proper latest plugins were installed) I could
not get it to work at all. I was able to AMA a simple qt H.264 no problem.
I also wasn't able to import the media in either. This is an older mac but
it was qualified with plenty of Ram. I uninstalled the software twice and
had no luck. I'm going to try 6.5.2 to see if that works but does anyone
have a clue why this isn't working at all?
