You need to install the AMA plugins. They're a separate installer. You can
download them from the Avid website.

trial version of MC 6.5 on a mac. When I started trying to AMA some
footage, ProRes, XDCAM C300. (proper latest plugins were installed) I could
not get it to work at all. I was able to AMA a simple qt H.264 no problem.
I also wasn't able to import the media in either. This is an older mac but
it was qualified with plenty of Ram. I uninstalled the software twice and
had no luck. I'm going to try 6.5.2 to see if that works but does anyone
have a clue why this isn't working at all?
