[Avid-L2] Re: New iMacs for editing etc.. 21 vs 27 Hard Drive 5400 vs 7200 vs Fusion?

I'm editing on the new 27" iMac with a secondary monitor and it's noticeably faster than the previous one, we asked to the reseller to deliver the top of the line model beefed up with the more RAM and the most powerful optional hardware available, it's the first iMac I find reasonable for Avid editing, but it's a software only MC, I don't know if the machine would slow down with third party I/O, like the old iMacs do.
