Okay, this is all excellent news. Thanks everybody for the helpful feedback.
Next question, once I edited my transcoded DNxHD 36 footage, I took the low-res files offline and used AMA to try to get my sequence to link back the original R3D footage so I could tweak it using the "SET SOURCE SETTINGS" command before transcoding into a 444 codec for color correcting.
Unfortunately about fifteen of the clips in my timeline couldn't see the original footage, and I got a black screen with this message at the bottom:
AMAProducerTask::Execute AMA Plug0In Unable to Provide Sample
Since the majority of the clips in the sequence did relink correctly, I don't think my workflow was wrong. Has anyone else encountered this specific error? And if so, what did you do to remedy it?
