Well correct me if I am wrong, but my last CS5 experience was still not
great for long form.
It was great pushing RT FX in burst and playback of different formats but
the actual stability with large projects was a different matter. It could
barely handle an hour timeline without crashing.
12 cores and 48 GB????
With enough RAM it was better than FCP 7. But that is not saying much.
I can cut an entire feature with 2 cores and 6GB on an Avid.
