Correct, Oliver.
For best results when cutting with Premiere Pro CS5 or CS5.5 is that you should really have a modern computer system with much more RAM than you may have used in the past, more CPUs than you've been using and, ideally, a qualfied NVIDIA card. The system needs to be beefier because of the nature of a 64bit editing system.
Runs great on an appropriately equipped Mac, but most of the hot rodders are on the PC side. Check out the hardcore benchmark site here:http://ppbm5.com/ In the lead is the ADK Juggernaut with 12 cores, 48GB of RAM, GTX 580, and a 6bay array.

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
