[Avid-L2] Export for use in FCP

 

L-ers,

I've exported a movie (from my PC Avid) for a friend who needs to cut a trailer for it in FCP7.

This is a PAL 2:1 Meridien project (16x9). Exported Same As Source. QT is 720x576.

When he brings it into FCP (Avid codec installed), FCP tells him it needs to change the project format (althoug nothing really seems to change), and there's a red line, indicating the need to render.

How should I export or how should he import so that rendering is not necessary?
