[Avid-L2] Marquee's AutoTitler Unreliable

 

Having a zillion problems trying to save titles from Marquee after using the AutoTitler to create a bunch of subtitles. I get an error upon saving to MC 5.0.3 --

"Assertion failed: entry && desc
File: /Snapshots/reengsnow2_1280545329/ppg/MCTop/ProjectFils/../../MediaComposer/CharGen2/ATitleList.c, Line: 1569"

is typical.

About half or more of the titles sucessfully make it to MC.

Also even though I'm saving files using TextWrangler as UTF-8 encoded anywhere I have an apostrophe the characters get messed up and have to be manually corrected in Marquee.
