[Avid-L2] Re: Mojo SDI capture frame off 1 frame early from SRW-5500 correct on NitrisDX?

First - are you sure your tape has exact matching LTC and VITC? Perhaps one machine is preferring one over the other in capture. One thing I've found as well is that the "super" output overlay on some Sony decks (I don't remember which, but I have both DVW-A500 and SRW-5500) causes the 9-pin sense TC to be off by a frame. WEIRD I know, but this happens. I have found just by switching the character display off, the frame accuracy improves. If at all possible, record a tape with burn in and use that for your capture testing.
