Re: [Avid-L2] MC5 RED AMA to Avid DS - Workflow?

Transcoding of AMA material is required for sending an ALE to DS. After that, it works. Transcode to the lowest res available to use as little storage as possible. Once in DS, follow the guidelines provided by Avid.

None of the 'smarter' metadata options (AMA or AFE) are available with
AMA-linked media, so as far as I could determine it would be necessary first
to transcode the sequence to an Avid media format before you could use
either of those methods.
