So I found in my connector box two versions of Tip Sleeve 1/4 inch phone to RCA adapters. The typical one shorts what would be the Ring and Sleeve but I have one odd ball that Shorts Tip and Ring. The second mults TIp and Ring so I assume the intention is to mult the left and right channels on a headphone jack. I've tried several googles but can't find what the proper nomenclature to accurately describe each type. Here's a picture. Come on Nerdtestants let's play: NAME THAT CONNECTOR!!!"
