While there is no direct match of products between the perpetual and the subscription options, I felt the MC standard subscription, which is available at $239 (VideoGuys price today), is the closest product to compare to the perpetual product, $389 now - soon to be $499.  They each represent the entry-level product currently available for both licensing option.
