The project once lived on a 1TB drive.
Producer provided a large 3TB drive, to which that 1TB
was backed up.
As I had pretty much run out of space on the original drive,
I set Media Creation to another drive.
After the media went missing this weekend,
I ran Disk Utility and sure enough the new media drive
had some issues, which I then repaired.
May be reaching out to support
on this one!

I think you may have a corrupted bin or a confused media folder.

Will do.
I did notice in MXF folders, the usual numbers. However, a folder labeled __bg.1Is this indicative of background processing, or somethingthat shouldn't be there?

Suggestions.
Move the sequences to a new bin and restart Media Composer.
You can also try RepairSequences in the console.
If none of this work. Hide the Avid MediaFiles folder by adding a letter to its name and create a title, saving it to the drive in question. It should create a new Avid MediaFiles folder with a #1 folder inside.. Then drag all the media to that new #1 folder. Then let the .mdb and .pmr files get recreated.
Good luck.
