On my test system (Win 10) it is indeed at the root level of the C drive. simplest thing is to launch MC and create a title (old style) and try to save to C.

Mac user here, and I'm getting conflicting information about the proper
location on the INTERNAL HD of a Windows 10 system for the Avid MediaFiles folder.
I would have thought it was at the root level of the c\ drive, but I'm also getting
word that it is supposed to go in this path:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Avid Media Composer\Avid MediaFiles
So, any experts out there able to chime in with the definitive answer?

We're just about to create a Deep Freeze image that will be deployed to about 50 systems . . .
so I'd hate to screw it up! ;)
