[Avid-L2] Catalina 2020.6 Avid UME and or QT linking?

I found this info:

It lists some of the files that MC 2020.6 can link/import.

There is mention of UME being used to overcome the lack of QT support with only 64 bit allowed in Catalina.

So where does this leave things like Panasonic Varicam 35 AVC-Intra?  That's not a .mov so is it exempt from the .mov etc... issues?  On 2020.6 when I link to AVC-Intra, assuming I can, would it technically be ama linking or UME linking or some other term/process?
