[Avid-L2] tool for collecting media

Hi guys, I just saw a tweet where someone was referring two separate programs called EDL_Spy and YoYatta that automate the collection of media files from an EDL or similar. Neither one specifically mentions Avid MXF folders in their descriptions. Anyone have any experience with either of these? Or, does anyone have other software that can collect Avid media (without consolidating)?
