On behalf of a friend (no seriously) — Has anyone had any experience with this new Blackmagic eGPU, with the Radeon Pro 580 graphics processor, etc.?
Can this thing be used with a MacBook Pro running MC for general acceleration in processing (like waveform redraws)? Will it increase overall performance in an MC editing environment, say with a MacBook Pro that may have limited RAM? I'm not clear on what this thing is.
Anyone?
