[Avid-L2] With Avid's new multi grouping from the sequence how to integrate camera audio?

We are starting to use MC 2018.12.1 for multigrouping to avoid super grouper or manual mode.  Our AE has found that the multigroup contains the audio tracks from the sequence he cut in from the DAW on set.  The resulting group doesn't seem to include camera audio.

We have traditionally used very elaborate multigroups with 9 plus cameras running 24/7 for several weeks.  They have developed a rigorous use of super grouper and adding additional add edits so source monitoring doesn't shift position in nine way split when one source doesn't exist.  With those groups there was definitely the choice to have some audio tracks that follow the video source, aka camera audio.

So with Avid's new feature how do you cut the camera audio into the sequence so that later the group will offer the audio follow video choice.  IIRC there is also the manual choice to choose the other tracks for a multigroup and not have it toggle.  I don't work with the groups on my end so I don't have a working knowledge of the subtle details.

Anyone got a suggestion to include camera audio with these new in Avid made multigroups.
