Where are you located?
Here in LA, and I think in NY, and probably Chicago? We now have Sharegrid and Kitsplit. This allows you to rent gear from another person like yourself. It's so cheap it's killing the smaller rental houses - not the places that cater to studios and networks, but the places that cater to students, pilots, Web-series types, etc.
As example there are several A6300 with a 50mm in Los Angeles listings, $25/day, 3 day week.
You have to have insurance, or they'll sell it to you for just the rental item.
Why work with shitty cameras.
