Not sure if you've solved it. If it's a graphics issue - an honest to god text issue - there's no reason you shouldn't be able to dial it up by opening the project, unless you don't have the font in question; but, if there was an asset attached to it, that may not have ported over when you received the project, and that would mean that you aren't going to be able to re-create it just by opening, but will have to rebuild.
