Re: [Avid-L2] Re: Arri Alexa Footage Upside down

Ok I understand now.
I use frame flex to adjust the upside down, so it was the correct way in this case.
Thanks!

Avid doesn't read the meta data like other apps.  I've seen QT play a shot correctly when the camera was mounted upside down on a jib but Avid did not understand that so I had to manually adjust frame flex in Avid.  Beware I have had cases where rotating 180 degrees to flip shots with frame flex has messed up picture centering in 4K.  QC flagged black lines at left side and top of screen.  Avid confirmed the bug and I think it was fixed in a later version than I had at the time.  I saw this problem in 8.5.3.

Hi All.
I'm having an issue with Avid 8.9
Some of the footage from an Arri Alexa Camera, appears upside down when I linked it, but if I play it outside MC, looks normal.

Someone Knows what could be happening? Some bug?
Thanks
