In the link settings of MC 8.6.4 and previous versions the 4th tab AIS Metadata is set to default:
Reel name for Labroll column based on:
Source file name
or
Source folder one up.
No matter which choice I make the Labroll column stays empty. I tried deleting the ama'd clips after changing the setting but nothing shows any data in Labroll column. According to the settings for link AIS Metadata tab this function seems to be always on in one mode or the other but I've never seen the Labroll populate with any data. Am I misunderstanding the intention of this feature or is there some enable setting I'm missing.
This would be really to have working when dealing with Sony camera footage that starts every new card with C0001 clip etc...
Has this feature ever worked for anyone?
