Re: [Avid-L2] AVID FIRST EXPORT (PUBLISH) PROBLEMS

 

I'm on a windows pro 7. (32 gigs of ram). I thought I had installed all the proper codecs. I use VLC media player, also tried windows media player. Avid First has very limited export options... including a straight 720p HD export to Vimeo and YouTube. I only installed minimum QuickTime (security issues)... should I do a full QT install?

Are you on a Windows or a Mac system?  What
software are you using to play back the file?  Are you
exporting a QT, AVI, what are you doing?  Do you have all
the correct codecs installed?
