No but i have a clone of my project drive with all AE renders on here. I was rendering to one drive but, because this is an older show, the import would go to the clone drive with the older files. I forgot I had mounted that clone in order to link the Moving Picture effects as they don't just relink if you clone a drive. So that was the issue. Not sure why it did not import when I drove to the right drive but now I know the issue. Avid just goes back to original folder since all project file names are the same, I got caught. I feel like an idiot but glad its not a symptom of something bigger as my Mac has been acting sensitive lately with odd behaviors and crashes.

Mac OS sometimes keeps a weird sort of cache of what a file is. It's a memory thing I think - if you open it in QT does it open the new or old version? Your best bet is to make a change and save with a new name. Like _v1, _v2, etc. - the name helps both Mac OS and MC understand this is a new thing and not the old thing.I've seen it, and can't really explain it other than that. The computer thinks it's being helpful, but it's doing the opposite. On Thu, Dec 15, 2016 at 11:51 AM, Lou Wirth loutv@mindspring.com [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I work between Avid and AE all the time. Currently the last few months on a series of videos, all graphics, lower thirds etc are in AE so I hop back and forth all day. TODAY. I make the change in AE, render replacing original movie, BUT…when i reimport, the graphic stays the same. Yes, the same. Reimport, select the movie (I even checked in QT to make sure its the movie) hit import…and nothing changes. The only way to get the new movie in is to drag it into the bin. Even doing a new import only reveals the old file. WTF?????
How is this even possible??? Can someone tell me please. This is going to make life really difficult if this is the new norm. Nothing changed that I am aware of between normal and this new bizarre problem.
