John,
You might need a codec pack update? I don't have Resolve installed, but I do know Avid Codecs LE was updated to include xHR codecs, so maybe you need the latest LE pack installed to have Resolve be able to see them. Just a thought…

I recently posted about not being able to see Avid mxf DNxHRHQX 4096x2160 files in the media tab of Resolve Lite 11.3.1. I realize there are certain limitations to the Lite versions but was told that the limitations aren't on source material but on output. So even if my mxf is 4096x2160 DNxHRHQX I should be able to import the file into the Resolve Media Pool but I don't even see the files show up when I click on the "1" folder in the avid media files mxf folder. I do see a SD 35:1 clip show up but it only plays black. I attribute the SD clip behavior to what I recall hearing that Resolve only handles 1:1 SD Avid media. Can anyone confirm the SD clip compatibility in Resolve is only with Avid 1:1? And can anyone tell me if Resolve 11.3.1 supports Avid DNxHRHQX? I emailed Blackmagic support yesterday but haven't heard back yet.John Moore Barking Trout Productions Studio City, CA bigfish@pacbell.net
