This is the old fashioned Script Integration not Script Sync. MC 8.2.
I haven't used Script Integration in many years. Gave it a try today.
I saved my transcript as Unicode text.
In my project I click file, new script and navigate to the text file.
The script window opens as I would expect.
I locate a section that corresponds to a clip and try to highlight that
section of text.
_This is where it starts acting strange._
I left click and drag over the paragraph I want. Instead of the
selection turning black, whole lines turn light gray. I tried various
combinations of modifier keys with no success.
I can drag the clip that corresponds to the (not really selected) text
and drop it on the clip. I get a script mark with the head frame of the
clip as an icon but I'm not able to adjust the window under the script mark.
If I click on the script mark the clip opens to its head frame.
I can't lock locations by clicking or double clicking in the text.
I've tried various changes in the script settings, no improvement.
I tried searching the script for the section I want to select. Search
just dings and does nothing.
