I think it's bonkers that the default is that when you drag a sequence from Interplay into an Avid bin, delete half of it for fun, check it back in, that it overwrites the original. Nuts. This should be an option.
But I have a solution for those who can enforce this discipline on a limitless number of freelance editors, producers, engineers, assistants, runners and anyone else that happens to be in a building full of Avid suites...... if you CONTROL-DRAG (Windows) the sequence into a bin, it copies it. Voila.
