RE: [Avid-L2] Re: Avid Airspeed

"Or perhaps, since Avid have recently upgraded the obfuscation on their website to new levels of impenetrable " HAHAH....true story.  Ill have to try that on my old 2.7 rig. They removed all the old Interplay Stuff and Airspeed ISOs from their website due to some java licensing stuff, so any installer built with that java can no longer be made available to users for download. So WHEN this airspeed dies there is also no way to recover it.  I tried many utilities to image the device but its only seeing 24MB of used space on the entire RAID array. Must be some customized FreeBSD build that Avid developed.  The .ISO used to reside on an Avid Unity, but without one of those, nobody has a copy of the AirSeed ISO and Avid won't provide one since the unit had support ended in 2015.

Oh well I will try what you mentioned. Avid said I need the Interplay Transfer Engine AND the client installed as well, but I though the Engine Required a dongle/license. Ill see what happens and post back.

Thanks for the feedback
