Thanks for posting Terri. Yes, we had a problem with the installer (you posted this yesterday) and decided to pull the release. We will repost and fix it in 8.6.3 which will be released at the end of Sept.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Media Composer v8.6.2 is unavailable due to an Installer Issue
The Media Composer 8.6.2 release is no longer available thru Application Manager, the Avid Account or the Avid Download Center due to an installer issue. Media Composer 8.6.1 is now available as the latest release. If a customer needs a fix which is included in 8.6.2 and can't wait for 8.6.3, then please contact Customer Care and we can supply the software with special handling instructions. Media Composer 8.6.3 will be the next release.
